Name this nintendo 64 game?

It's a fighting game sort of.. It's strategy. There will be a grid on the ground where you select one of the squares and depending on which one you pick it does more/less damage. There are 'chilling' moments, where you'll be walking and a character whose lying dead will get up. It's not Resident Evil, or Ogre Battle. I can't remember anymore details. I'm sorry but it's from my childhood.
