Dragon age 2 ps3 players, i need your help, why the game is so hard when you're a warrior?

i have just started the game and i chose the warior as a class, i found that defeating the ogre in hard mode is impossible due to the lack of blocking and rolling moves for a warrior class or am i missing something? however when i played it in mage, i can defeat it because of "run-cast" technique. being a warrior, i found myself running and then hit the ogre one time (with almost no visible effect) and just before i can run away again, i'll be hit by it with a large chunk of my hitpoints eliminated. it could have been easier if i can block or dodge the hits. do you have some tips? thanks
